Some stuff I like and some I don’t like so much |
Diet & Fitness Journal: Your Personal Guide to Optimum Health (Little Black Journals)from Claudine Gandolfi (Author) and Kerren Barbas Steckler (Illustrator) (ISBN: 1593596707)
I’ve tried lots of different diet journals and lots of different diet AND fitness journals. There was always something wrong with them: too big, too small, not enough room for fitness activities, etc., etc. With this journal I’ve finally found a diet journal I can love! I’m already on my second one. This size is perfect. If you want to take it with you, it will fit in most bags or purses. It’s discreet with its black cover so no one needs to know that you’re writing in your fitness journal or keeping tabs on your food intake. Each day includes a two-page spread. The left side is the food log and the right side is the fitness log. At the bottom of the right page, you can tally up your total intake and calories used, keep track of vitamins, take notes or just give yourself a smiley face for having a good day. There’s a summary at the end of each week where you can record your weight loss or size change. There’s also a nutritional index at the end but it’s a bit limited. I prefer online charts myself. The introduction also includes information about eating healthy and how many calories you should eat. The information is useful but pretty generic. If you’re like me, you know what you need to do.
